Posted in NEWS

Bell Labs researchers of Crawford Hill (New Jersey) demonstrated a 218 Gbps on single channel and single polarization utilizing the scheme “Kramers-Kronig receiver” desinged and patented within the INCIPICT project by the research group of Prof. Mecozzi at the University of L’Aquila in colalboration with Prof. Mark Shtaif of the University of Tel Aviv. The experiment was presented in March in Los Angeles at the post-deadline papers session in the most important international conference in optical communications, OFC 2017 (https://www.osapublishing.org/abstract.cfm?uri=OFC-2017-Th5B.6). Post-deadline papers are submitted just before the conference with the aim to present record experiments and/or technologies overcoming the state of the art.
